Savoring the Beauty of Yangtai Mountain Hiking Trails

Known as the "forest green lung and urban oxygen bar", Yangtai Mountain Forest Park is situated at the meeting point of Nanshan District, Bao'an District, and Longhua District.

Within this park, characterized by lush forests and a meandering stream flowing through rocky terrain, you'll discover a mesmerizing landscape with every step you take.

The park is home to the renowned Yangtai Mountain Hiking and Countryside Trails, covering a total distance of 19.93 kilometers in Nanshan District.

These trails, consisting of 2 hiking segments and 4 countryside sections, include Kunpeng Trail Section 3, Kunpeng Trail Section 4, Yangtai Mountain Countryside Trail Fengmen'ao Line, Yangtai Mountain Countryside Trail Tiangeng Line, Yangtai Mountain Countryside Trail Qixing Line, and Yangtai Mountain Countryside Trail Changkengzai Line.

The hiking trails stretch over 10.28 kilometers, while the countryside trails extend for 9.65 kilometers.

Among the two hiking trails, Kunpeng Trail Section 4 stands out for its awe-inspiring scenery.

The Nanshan section of Kunpeng Trail Section 4 is divided into two parts, and the first section starts at Makan 2nd Mountaineering Entrance and concludes at Fengmen'ao.

As you ascend the handcrafted trail, surrounded by flourishing greenery, you'll witness the vibrant force of life: from tiny seeds breaking through rock crevices to becoming towering trees. Fallen trees, adorned with yellow fungal colonies, lie gracefully on the ground and firmly root into the ground as branches reach skyward.

The trail offers unobstructed panoramic views, allowing you to gaze upon Xili Reservoir, Tanglang Mountain, University Town, and Shenzhen Bay, creating a perfect vantage point to appreciate the natural beauty of the city.

Among the 4 countryside trails,the most captivating is the Yangtai Mountain Countryside Trail Fengmen'ao Line.Starting at Changkengzai Mountaineering Entrance and concluding at Fengmen'ao, this trail takes you through diverse terrains, including earth steps, stone steps, dirt roads, embankments, and riverbanks...

As you traverse the densely vegetated mountain paths, the scenery unfolds into an open landscape.

Along the path, a stream flows through the rocks,inviting you to enjoy moments of bliss by its side.

Continuing upstream, the towering trees on either side create a natural canopy, with ancient and massive roots visible between rugged rocks.
